Positive: If you choose this property the most important thing is to get your expectations right. While checking reviews we were lucky to have come upon a comment by the owners who said that the property was not an hotel but a luxury apartment. And that's exactly what it is. It is a period piece with all the advantages and drawbacks. It is a tactfully modernised huge apartment in a multi-apartment house (not really a palace), so you get this authentic feeling. But as opposed to many similar places everything worked perfectly - it was warm, there was hot water in the shower etc etc. Very clean. Very nice people took care of us, thank you very much to the team )).

Negative: It's not what we didn't like, it's what you've got to be aware of if you want to stay at this place: 1. You need a working phone and you must let the host know your number a couple of days before you arrive. The host actually asked us for this themselves, so perfectly professional on their part. But if you just show up there at the time of your booking you're bound to experience quite some anxiety, as there's no reception etc. 2. The house is in the old part of town and the apartment gives onto a cobbled street. There are no horses hooving around, but even when the occasional car passes in the street you do hear it )).
