Summary: The location was convenient for exploring Rome during the day without paying the high city-center prices. The grounds themselves were lovely, with plenty of greenery and useful facilities such as laundry areas and shower blocks. There was also a shuttle cart running from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., which made getting around easier — though outside of those hours, the walk to the entrance could feel a bit long. The train station was about a 20-minute walk from our chalet, which was located near the back of the park. Unfortunately, the chalet itself left a lot to be desired. It was extremely dated, with doors hanging loosely, patchy flooring, and very uncomfortable beds. There was a kettle provided, but oddly, nowhere to plug it in. On the positive side, the shower was warm and powerful, which was a welcome relief after a day of sightseeing. Overall, it did the job for our needs — providing a basic place to rest as we travelled across Italy as a family of four. However, given the condition of the accommodation, I wouldn’t recommend this place for more than a short, budget stopover.
