Summary: The house and surrounding countryside dotted with hill top villages are absolutely delightful!! There is lots to visit in the area, not to mention delicious Italian food. The owners (Paola, her son and husband), gave us a very warm welcome. We spent a week here with our 7 and 9 year old daughters who made the most of the brand new swimming pool. The views over the valley and opposite hills from the pool are stunning. The 2 bedrooms stone house is newly and beautifully renovated, and everything one needs for a comfortable stay is provided (included an information folder with local places of interest for visits and eating out). The gardens around the house are beautiful too, just as seen on the website pictures. We spent time visiting the nearby and very pretty villages of Narni (classical music festival end of July) and Otricoli, and went to the Cascata delle Marmore (water falls). We highly recommend this rental (we cannot fault it in any way, if only perhaps the lack of air conditioning which would be welcomed in the height of summer), and are thinking of coming back next year.
