Positive: A true classic of a hotel, old-fashioned in the best sense - large rooms and bathrooms, wooden and leather everything, personable service, architecturally interesting and fantastic position with view of the imposing Acquaduct. Literally a few steps from Spoleto's most important sights and sites. Beautiful cats, too!

Negative: Weak/unreliable wifi. Navigating Spoleto's very narrow alleys with no clarity on what is a one-way or constitutes a traffic light is tricky - and we know Umbria (and - as it happens - Spoleto pretty well!) The hotel could give better/more information on how to get there and where to park. And which routes NOT to take.

Summary: A classic hotel in an extraordinary location - when you get there!
