This residence is on the edge of the small town of Pittulongu, about an 11-minute drive from the town of Olbia, the centre of Sardinia’s famous Costa Smeralda.
The town’s beach is picture-perfect, long with pristine white sand. It is particularly popular with families, as the crystal clear, shallow waters are very safe for bathing and good for snorkelling. You can also hire sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as jet skis and windsurfing boards if you are feeling adventurous. The numerous coastal paths have spectacular views of the famous island of Tavolara. The island of Tavolara claims to be the smallest kingdom in the world and is well worth a day trip for hiking, swimming and lunch at the famous Da Tonino restaurant, run by the island’s current king.
For food options closer to home, Pittulongu has many good restaurants with local Sardinian specialities, seafood and classic Italian cuisine. If you want to experiment with local produce yourself, Olbia hosts farmers\' markets 3 days a week, the best being the Saturday market in Via Sangallo.
