The Gerlich family has transformed Schloss Berg Klösterle into four spacious, comfortable holiday apartments, plus an event hall, sauna, and party cellar. Set in a peaceful location about 100 m above the valley floor, you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and panoramic views, far from traffic. Central heating, sauna, swimming pond, fresh mountain air, and water from the estate’s own spring ensure a special sense of well-being.
The former Carmelite monastery was built in 1754 by Empress Maria Theresa. The splendidly decorated baroque church, owned by the local parish, still hosts Sunday services. To the east of the church lies an old cemetery with beautiful historic wrought-iron crosses, still in use today.
For private events such as weddings, birthdays, or anniversaries, an 80 m² banquet hall, a private courtyard (110 m²), and a 30 m² party cellar are available. A large iron stove in the vaulted stone cellar provides cozy warmth. For larger outdoor celebrations, a covered 70 m² carport can be used.
