The property is in a small borgo at the foot of Monte Catria and Monte Auto.The house and its two terraces enjoy amazing panoramic views of the glorious Marche hills and the distant mountains of the Montefeltro. The property is within easy reach of excellent local restaurants and shops in the nearby towns of Cagli and Pergola. We are also within 10 minutes' drive of the hilltop village and castle of Frontone. The ancient and beautiful university town of Urbino, and the Roman seaside towns of Pesaro and Fano, are all approximately 30 minutes' drive away. Gubbio, with its Roman amphitheatre is 25 minutes away. Perugia, the capital of Umbria, and Assisi are about 1 hour away. There are Bandiera Blu beaches along the coast, and swimming is also possible in streams and rivers near the property. This is a magical area to explore, with many local food specialities and festivals, including the famous annual truffle festival in nearby Acqualagna. In winter, there is a ski area on Monte Catria, where there is also a children's adventure playground in spring and summer. This is an area unspoiled by major tourism. This is the real rural Italy with a wonderful cultural heritage. At the house is a parking area for two cars.
