Around Sand in Taufers, there are also many routes for cross-country skiing and ski tours, as well as wonderful hiking routes through the valleys and across lush alpine pastures. South Tyrol’s charming capital Bolzano is located a one-hour-and-30-minute drive (90 km) from the town.
