The area is an excellent destination for a relaxing holiday, scenic drives, walking-hiking-mountain biking, visits to Rome and the surroundings (above all, a walk in the Gole del Farfa and visit of the Abbey di Farfa). It is a very quiet area in a hilly location with panoramic views. The property features a private garden with a 12 by 6 meter swimming pool (for private use of the tenant). The depth of the pool goes from 0,80 to 2,20 meter. The entrance of the house is through a stair with low steps, in front of the house you will find a large terrace equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining and outdoor sofa (6 seats). From the terrace you have a beautiful panoramic view. The terrace is not fenced, so young children must always be checked (risk of falling on 3 sides). Next to the terrace there is a dining/living room and a well equipped kitchen. The upper floor has also a bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom with toitlet/shower, 2 bedrooms with double bed that have to share the second bathroom with toilet/bathtub. A stairs leads to the lower floor (also accessible from the garden). The nearest restaurant is at 2,3 km from the property (da Ciccio) In the villages of Mompeo and Salisano (at 3,5 and 5 km) there a couple of small grocery stores, 2 pharmacy, bar, post office/ATM and some other shops. The nearest supermarkets are at 15 km in Poggio Mirteto, there are supermarkets also at Passo Corese near the highway exit. In Salisano there is also a restaurant/pizzeria (La locanda del Gufetto). Further suggestions where to eat: (pizza) Poggio Catino "da Roberto" or Cisterna di Poggio Catino "Pizzeria nel bosco" you are lucky you will see wild boars that pass between the tables, (meat) Poggio Mirteto "Osteria Chianina" or Calvi "Fattoria San Carlo", Abbazia di Farfa (very nice) - "La cascina dell'Abbazia". Purchase of meat / typical products Poggio Mirteto "Non solo carne". Nearest winery is at Poggio Mirteto "Tenuta Santa Lucia". The nearest highway exit is at 30 km form the property, the cityring of Rome can be reached in 45 minutes driving. The nearest train station is Fara Sabina (24 km), you can also park here your car and go to the centre of Rome with the train. The owners are a family living in Rome, you will meet on arrival the caretaker that's at your disposition if you need any help during the stay.
