The house is 500 meters from the town center on the hill above it, with a large veranda. We can accommodate up to 7 people in the beds with which it is equipped, if necessary an additional eighth place is available in a folding bed.
Upstairs bedrooms: one with double bed, one with two single beds, one with qeen bed, one with single bed, possibility of additional bed. The altitude is 570 meters above sea level. From the village you can reach the sea and cities of art in 30 minutes. An extraordinary view to the sea. Up to FOUR GUESTS the rate is 60 Euros, each additional guest is 10 Euros up to 7, possibility of additional bed for an eighth guest always adding 10 Euros to the rate. Roccatederighi is in the hills of southern Tuscany, in Maremma, on the edge of the flood plain that joins the coast. The village is part of a "crown" of medieval villages, all in the municipality of Roccastrada which look out over the sea and monitor the routes connecting with Siena. The area is called Colline Metallifere because it is rich in noble metals and exploited over the centuries with mireraria crops. Fossil carbon, pyrite, copper were the wealth of these populations. Above the town, in the hill above it, there are ruins of the imposing manor of Sassoforte. In the village of Roccatederighi a medieval re-enactment takes place every August and a Palio of donkeys that attracts thousands of people. Excellent production of high quality extra virgin olive oil and DOC wine in the area. In the woods and chestnut groves, in addition to chestnuts, beautiful mushrooms can be found in the right season. Roccatederighi is about 40 km from splendid seaside resorts and from the ferries that take you to the islands of the Tuscan archipelago. About 160 km from Pisa airport and 36 km from Grosseto station. Bus connections with all the surrounding countries, with Siena and Florence.
